Kaurilands Skills is a rural based program for adults with intellectual disabilities, who prefer country life rather than the busy City.
A Charitable Trusted founded in 1990, Kaurilands Skills Centre is set on 45 hectares on the West Coast approximately two hours north of Auckland and 15 minutes south of Dargaville situated at the base of Tokatoka Peak as seen in the background.
Work and Life skills are all part of the week day activites at Kaurilands. They involve practical training in horticulture, agriculture, sylvan culture and firewood. The Trust also has a contract with the Local body for refuse collection, associated recycling services plus commercial refuse collection.
