Weavers
Astronomy compels the soul to look upward
And leads us from this world to another,
And weavers of knowledge spin blankets
We immerse ourselves in
To keep out ignorances chill of limitation.
We work our own hands to our tapestry of understanding
In hopes of putting together a little piece of the big picture.
To open a slice of the sky and see whats inside.
We dabble in the art of question,
Strip free of societys pretensions,
And expose ourselves as ones who do not know everything,
But want to.
Diving fully into childhoods pool of Why?
To learn,
Connect,
And understand
Goose bumps, Pulling the blanket tighter around us
We shake out our hands
Giving pause to look up at the nursery of the stars;
To wonder
Adding more questions to ponder,
As we continue to weave on.
