My family was started when my parents were married in January of 1965. They were married in Minnesota and on their honeymoon, they drove across country and settled ulitmately in the great Northwest where they have been since. My first sister was born in November, 1965 (I know, didn't waste anytime starting a family!). My second sister was born in December, 1966. The third sister was born in January of 1968. Number 4 was born in April of 1969 and was the last child for almost 9 years. We all harass sister number 5 that she was an accident (eventho the 'rents maintain that she was in fact planned...) Then my only brother comes into the picture. He was born in November of 1979. Then, almost 2 years later, I was born in October 1981.
From then on my sisters have gone on to get married and start their own families. As of today, there are 13 little ones in our family, the youngest of which was born just two years ago. |
