C3A1 SNIPER RIFLE 7.62mm

The C3 is a Parker-Hale Model 82 with a Kahles Helios ZF69 6x42 scope, the more recent C3A1 uses the same Unertl 10x scope that the U.S.M.C. has been using. This is a plain rifle based on the Mauser 98 action. The Model 82 has been used by many competition shooters and has won its fair share of matches. It is an extremely accurate rifle that was adopted in the 70's by the Canadian Army. The Model 82 was also adopted in Australia and New Zealand as well as the British Army where it is used as a target rifle for Cadets.

This weapon provides specially trained personnel of the Canadian Armed Forces, with the capability to effectively perform the tasks of a sniper, for combat and internal security operations. This rifle is also used by Armed Forces personnel in advanced regional and national sniper competitions.
