* in an interview with one of the MK creators, there was said that MK5 will probably use the NVDIA Chip. In a chat, Ed Boon said the game will just be designed to be as cool as it could be. MK5 will also probably not be coming out on Dreamcast but on the PS2 because Dreamcast would not be fast enough for the game, so MK5 has a big chance on being released on Xbox and PS2 but also Nintendo Gamecube *

* From all - alities, the fatalities will be in the game for sure. He also said that "funny" - alities like Babalities and Friendships, will probably not return, but there will certainly be some humor in the game *

* Dan " Toasty " Forden will be doing the music for the game again *

* The game will be very different then previous versions because it will use a total different fighting engine *

* The characters will be showing wear and tear as a fight progresses *
