STORY
ABOUT JADE
|
| A close friend
of Princess Kitana, Jade was born in Edenia before it was
overtaken by Shao Kahn. The two women then trained as assassins
for the emperor, with Jade becoming skilled in the razor-edged
fans favoured by her friend. Jade usually competed in the
Mortal Kombat tournament as a hidden warrior, where the
outcome such fights did not affect the tournament as a whole.
She fought in Kahn's tournament in Outworld, then assisted
in the invasion of Earth. But when the renegade Princess
Kitana made her escape into the unknown regions of Earth,
Jade was appointed by Shao Kahn to bring his daughter back
alive. Jade was now faced with the task of betraying her
friend or disobeying her Emperor. Jade made the decision
to assist her long time friend Kitana. She thwarted an assassination
attempt by Reptile against the princess and fended off their
other Outworld enemies, then allied herself with Kitana
and the Earth Realm warriors to defeat Kahn |
