| The Truest Love |
| In our lovely little garden, with a swinging seat In the summer evenings we would sit My arm around you, staring at the sunset Pausing only to kiss as the sun faded from view And the stars would twinkle in the twilight sky I would hold you and you would gaze, longingly into my eyes as the seat would swing to and fro then our lips would lock in one moment of extreme passion I would wrap my arms around you, Never a passion felt so deep Blissful This truly is love and poetry, ours together, forever Breathtaking and eternal Our hearts entwined, beating as one Angels would weep for us today For our love has reached a new level Rarely felt and almost never seen Golden tears of joy would fall and sprinkle the ground Like the first drops of a spring shower Our souls deeper than any well constructed United as one Love truly is a splended thing And if this a dream, then I never want to wake.... |
