| From a Poet to his Love |
| We are the beating of one heart A single thought in two minds As if never seperate from each other Yet so far apart. We are the perfect contrary The beauty that radiates within our souls Unites us both to form that most rarest of things The perfect loving partnership. This may be just the ramblings of a romantic Incurable, dependable, yet still flawed We are like laughter and love A wonderful combination Now you beaming smile lights the very heavens And your tears as soft as morning dew Carress your cheek, with the softest touch A Rose in full bloom could not match that peerless beauty Your eyes laced with tears, still sparkle Like frost on a winters morn Through that veil of glistening wonder called tears Then laughter, after the tears Like sunshine after the rain Love allays all fears (A 21st century prose written by a romantic, to the most precious jewel of his life) |
