We all know what an unforgetable movie Morrowind would make, right? How it would be a dream to view the journey of the Nerevarine on the big screen. A bigger "fantasy" blockbuster than Lord of the Rings.
Ever wonder who would play the roles of Bethesda's masterpiece? I have. That's why I set out to uncover the talent that would best fit the roles of the Morrowind movie. Since it is a movie, expect the characters to play more of an important role. To that effect, I have taken a few creative liberties, naturally. Note: This only covers Morrowind, the future tales of Mournhold and Bloodmoon have yet to hold casting auditions ;).
Without further adeu, I present to you the cast of of Morrowind.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Vodus Palenix -
Nerevarine
The ass-kicking Imperial. Hailing from the province of Cyrodiil, Vodus is released
from prison on the island of Vvardenfell, ignorant of the role he is to play in that nation's
history.
With his trusty blade, he battles the minions of Dagoth Ur to free Morrowind from the
Blight. After fulfilling the prophecies and then heading to Mournhold to deal with Almalexia, he swears
to Vivec: "I'll be back."
Sean Connery Caius Cosades
The
moon-sugar addicted Spymaster who takes Vodus under his wing under the command of the Emperor. Things
take a turn for the worst when he is recalled back to the Imperial City, but stays around long enough
to tell Vodus about his true purpose in the land of Dark Elves.
David Spade Fargoth
All his life
he has been looked down upon and laughed at. He is constantly bullied by the guards, and suffers with a
heavy addiction to brandy. His annoying and intrusive attitude is what introduces him to the future
Nerevarine in the backwater town of Seyda Neen.
Christopher Walken Hasphat
Antabolis
An old friend of Caius and a historian who is obsessed with the mystery surrounding
the Dwarves. He sends Vodus on his first mission to raid an old Dwemer ruin and retrive a very well-
hidden puzzle box from a gang of thieves which the hero must fight single-handedly.
John Travolta Orvas Dren
The
criminal head of the Cammona Tong, and the man pulling the strings behind Great House Hlaalu. He learns
about Vodus and his quick rise in reputation around Morrowind. Angered that an outlander could
eventually become the Nerevarine and leader of Morrowind, he decides that this new "hero" must be
stopped at all costs.
Sharon Stone Nibani Maesa
The
Wise Woman of the Urshilaku Ashlander tribe, and the leader of the Nerevarine Cult. She is Vodus' guide
on the path to the Nerevarine to insure that he fulfills the prophecies and saves the land from Dagoth
Ur and the False Gods.
Kurt Russel (aka Snake Plissken) Sul-
Matuul
The proud Ashkan leader of the Urshilaku tribe. He sets Vodus on a series of tasks to see
if he is worthy to take the path of the Nerevarine. Brave, bold, and ignorant, he does eventually
accept Vodus and guides him through the ancient Kogoruhn in further search of information on the Sixth
House.
Kristanna Loken Sinnammu
Mirpal
The Wise Woman and leader of the Ahemmusa Ashlander tribe, the only tribe without an
Ashkan. She leads Vodus on a gauntlet through Ald Daedroth to rid the shrine of Sheogorath's
worshippers and make it a safe haven for her people.
Angelina Jolie Raesa
Pullia
The head champion of Fort Buckmoth near Ald'ruhn. Vodus helps her clear a Sixth House
base that has been a threat to the locals, and a death-trap for her infantry. She shares a brief love
interest with the future Nerevarine before he ventures into the cavern and is cursed with the Divine
Disease.
Jack Nicholson Crassius Curio
The
not-quite-right House Hlaalu councilor who guides Vodus on the path of becoming Hlaalu Hortator. He
takes a peculiar interest in the hero, who he refers to as "dumpling".
Samuel L. Jackson Bolvyn
Venim
Sir Venim is the proud war-hero councilor of House Redoran. Refusing to support Vodus on
his path to become Redoran Hortator and future Nerevarine, he challenges the hero to a fight to the
death in Vivec's Arena.
Johnny Depp Divayth Fyr
The
reclusive Telvanni leader of Tel Fyr, who is as old as the Tribunal itself. He is surrounded by several
beautiful women which he created over the years experimenting with the divine disease Corprus. Caius
sends Vodus there in hopes that the old wizard will be able to cure his affliction. Once Vodus
overcomes the Blight, he is immune to age and disease, and fulfills yet another one of the
prophecies.
Danny Devito Yagrum Bagarn
The
last living Dwemer, or Dwarf as they are commonly called. Deformed by Corprus, he lives in the bowels
beneath Tel Fyr. He has still his sanity, which is unlike other Corprus monsters, and sheds some light
on his ancient and mysterious race.
Keira Knightley Mehra Milo
The
priestess with copper hair and copper eyes. She has information on the Dissidant Priests, and informs
Vodus on the truth behind the Tribunal. She is later captured by the Temple's Ordinators, and it's up
to the hero to rescue her.
Robin Williams Tholer
Saryoni
Archcanon of the Temple, the head honcho of the Tribunal church right under the Three
themselves. Once Vodus is proclaimed Nerevarine and Hortator, Tholer becomes interested and meets with
the hero, eventually arranging a meeting between Vodus and Lord Vivec. He is a valuable source of
information, but is killed when Dagoth Ur's assassins break into the High Fane.
Ben Stiller Salyn Sarethi
Bouyant
Armiger and poet residing in Ghostfence to try and retain the Blight monsters. He commands his men to
aid Vodus and fights by his side along the path to Dagoth Ur's fortress.
Willem Dafoe Lord Voryn Dagoth /
Dagoth Ur
The ancient and powerful enemy of Morrowind and the Tribunal. The cause of the Blight
and Corprus monsters. He is constructing a powerful enchanted machine to free Morrowind from the
outlanders, curse the populace with Corprus, and eventually control Tamriel. Vodus finally meets up
with his ultimate enemy deep beneath Red Mountain and fights with the weight of the world hanging on
his shoulders.
Patrick Warburton Dagoth
Odres
One of Dagoth Ur's right hand men. He hold the artifact Keening which is required to
destroy Dagoth Ur. Unlike his bretheren, he is somewhat absent minded and forgets where he put the
blade. He doesn't care if they fight, because he's died before and Dagoth Ur just brings him
back.
Will Ferrell M'Aiq the
Liar
Either he's just a Khajiit that had a little too much moon sugar, or he's the greatest
scholar of them all. His obscure information on lost treasure leads Vodus into the Sea of Ghosts where
he is confronted by Sheogorath (despite M'Aiq's subtle warning involving a symphony of
slaughterfish).
Marlon Brando The White Guar
A
legendary creature who's legend is told about in the hymns of the Ashlanders. When Vodus finds himself
lost in the Ashlands and surrounded by the ferocious Blight storms, the White Guar appears to lead him
to saftey.
Jim Carrey Sheogorath
Daedra
Prince of Madness. He plays mind games with Vodus while he is stranded in the Sea of Ghosts, and almost
succeedes and overwhelming the hero with madness. He sends a powerful enemy, weilding Wabbajack, to
fight Vodus. One strike of the staff, and the hero will turn into a monster.
Liv Tyler Azura
The Daedra Goddess
who first invisioned the prophecies of the Nerevarine Incarnate thousands of years ago. She guides
Vodus through telepathy, and appears to him twice during his quest, beckoning him to strive ever
forward to kill Dagoth Ur and free Morrowind from the False Gods.
Tommy Lee Vivec
Holy god and
leader of the Tribunal, the religion of the Dark Elves. He became a god through obscure means many
thousands of years ago, and stopped worship of the Daedra on Morrowind by the common people. He is
first hesitant of Vodus and the Nerevarine Prophecies, but soon realizes what must be done, and that
the death of Dagoth Ur will come at the hands of Vodus.
Britney Spears Almalexia
Holy
goddess of the Tribunal. Her hand has lead the Dunmer people through a period of peace and prosperity,
but with Vodus' recent severing of the very power that makes her divine, she loses control. The nation
of Morrowind is threatened yet again and it's up to Vodus to put an end to this vixen's madness.
It took me some time to make this, so you can link but please don't copy ;).
Rember that this is a parody, and there will be no actual Morrowind movie.
