    Advancement: To find when you will be able to advance, go to the mage guild after right clicking and look at the stats and stuff. It will list your rank, main attributes, and other things. At the bottom it will say something similar to �Need one skill at 40 and two skills at 20.� See the main attributes of the guild? It means that you must have one of these skills at 40 and two of them at 20. Simple enough but it took me a while to figure this out. After you have met the requirements, talk to one of the leaders at the Fighter�s Guild and they will advance you.
    
Rats
     1.1 To begin your first quest, go to the fighter�s guild and join by talking to Fire-Eye. Following that, ask for duties from her and she will tell you about some cave rats that have infested Drarayne Thelas�s house. To get there, go out the front door and turn to the left, and turn to the left again, down the path, cross over the bridge to the other side of the river and her house is right up along that side of the river. Go into her house and ask her about the rats. She will give you a key to her storeroom. There are three rats to kill, one is right there in her bedroom, to get to the other two, leave the house and head up her stairs to the second floor. Kill the two rats and head back down and talk to her again about the rats. She will give you 100 gold septims. Head back over the fighter�s guild and tell Fire-Eye about the rats.
    
Egg Poachers
     1.2. The next quest involves killing two men who are egg poachers. To get to the mine, leave Balmora from the south and follow the river Odai (the river that splits Balmora in two) until you see a couple men around a fire. The cave is just behind them. Enter and head down the path. Don�t attack the big workers. Only attack the little foragers or the warriors. Eventually, you will come to a door to the �Queen�s Lair.� Head north around a small bend and the two men should be right there. They are fairly easy to kill but just make sure you have a halfway decent weapon. After killing them and looting their corpses, head back to Fire-Eye and tell her you killed them. She w ill award you award you with four potions of restore fatigue and 100 gold septims.
    
Telvanni Agents
     1.3. The next involves four telvanni agents that you must kill. They go by the names Alynu Aralen, Sathasu Nerothren, Fothyna Herothran, and Alveleg. You must first go to caldera. The quickest way is to go to the mages guild in Balmora (right next to the fighter�s guild) and head to the very back. There will be a woman next to a stand of some sort. This woman will teleport you to any mages guild you want to go to. The usual price is around 15 gold. Warp over to Caldera and leave by the gate at the northwest part of town. Follow the path until you reach a sign post near some guy that looks like he�s naked. Then, take the path leading to the southwest, and at the next fork, take the south path. You should see a man standing off to the side of a path leading to a cave. Talk to him about the telvanni agents and he will attack you. Kill him (Aveleg) and head up to the cave. Rest up to full strength and head in. Just in case you are doing these quests first and you are still at a low level, make sure you have a good weapon and good armor with an armor rating of at least 15; otherwise, this could be incredibly difficult. Enter Ashanammu and you will see three men. Kill all three and loot the cave. There are a couple barrels with some valuable things. Leave and head back to Caldera and warp back to Balmora. Go back to the Fighters Guild and talk to Fire-Eye. She rewards you with 400 gold. Not bad.
    
Code Book
     1.4. The next task is very easy. You must retrieve a code book from Scottilde who is at the South Wall Cornerclub. To get there, head over the river again and it is in the southeast part of town. Scottilde is right there at the front. You must persuade her to give you the code book. Just persuade her until she gives you the codebook. Head back to Fire-Eye and hand it over and receive 50 gold.
    
Debt Money
     1.5. Quest number five is another easy one. You must go to Suran and collect debt money from Helviane Descle. Take the silt strider over to Suran and walk down the steps. The House of Earthy Delights is on your right. Go in and head to the main room where Helviane is behind the counter. There are two ways to do it from here. First, you can simply kill her because no one will care if you do. Make sure that if you kill her, you are behind the counter. Take the 200 gold. Second, you can persuade her and eventually she will hand it over. Personally, I like the first one. Head back to Balmora and give Fire-Eye the money, and in return, she will give 100 gold.
    
Orc Bounty
     1.6. For the next quest, you discover that there is a 250 gold bounty on an orc named Dura-gra-Bol. She lives right on the other side of the river on the southern end. She is in the top of the house, so go up all the stairs. Simply kill her. Return to Fire-Eye to receive the 250 gold. At this point, you must be a protector in the fighter�s guild to continue to do quests for Eydis Fire-Eye. If you are not, you can go to either The fighter�s guild in the foreign quarter of Vivec, the fighter�s guild in Ald Ruhn, or the fighter�s guild in Sadrith Mora.
    
Orcs at a Daedric Ruin
     1.7. Your Next orders from Eydis Fire-Eye are to speak with Alof. to get to his plantation, first take a silt strider over to Seyda Neen. Walk over to Pelagiad and go through, and walk around the fort. Continue east and to the Dren plantation (which looks like a small market). Turn north and go over to the Arvel plantation. Swim across the lake towards the dock. This is Alof's farm. Enter his shack, and speak with him about "Orcs at a Daedric Ruin. Your task is to kill an orc named Burub gra-Bamog. Leave the farm and head north. You will immediately hit a crossroads. Here is where it gets tricky, so pay attention. Turn west. At the first signpost, turn towars Molag Mar. (Simply look at the sign). Continue on this path. If you pass a log in the middle of the path, you are on the right path. Keep going north. At the next signpost, go east. Then southeast at the next one. At the next intersection turn south, then turn west, and walk around the ruin, following the path. The path will curve around, and eventually lead to a door. This door leads to Burub gra-Bamog, so you might want to heal up first. Enter, and kill the Burub. Leave, and head west towards Balmora. You will wind around a path up the mountain, and eventually get to some towers. Just keep heading west you will hit Fort Moonmoth. continue heading west and there is Balmora. Talk to Fire-Eye about the orcs, and you will recieve 500 gold as a reward, and hopefully an advancement.
    
The Verethi Gang
     1.8. The next querst assigned to you is to kill a man by the name of Dovres Verethi, head of the Verethi gang. This quest is fairly easy. First, take a silt strider over to Seyda Neen. Walk over to Pelagiad and go in the front entrance. Instead of going through the town, go around the outside of the town on the south side. When you get to the fort, turn south. You should see a little cave. This is where you need to go. Head in and kill Ena. go a little further and kill Uvisea. When you come tho the bridge, two men should charge at you. Kill them, and head on a little more. Kill Brelyn, and then kill the archer shooting at you. Now, you should come to a boad. Go on the boat and kill Dovres. After killing everyone in the cave, make sure you loot it, as there is lots of valuable stuff in there. Finally, head back to Balmora and talk to Fire-Eye to recieve a reward of 1000 gold.
    
Sarano Ancestral Tomb
     1.9. Next, you are told that a creature called a "hunger" has invaded the Sarano Ancestral Tomb, and you are to go and kill it. Make sure that before you go there, you have a silver sword or magic damage you can cause, because physical damaged has no effect on it. To get to the tomb from Balmora, walk east over to Fort Moonmoth. continue east, past the fort, and turn right at the next sign, and left at the folloing sign, so you are headed southeast. Continue south at the next sign. Continue on this path for a ways, and you will come to a small man named Thoronor, turn north. and enter the tomb. Clear out the tomb by going in and killing all the bonewalkers. Then, enter the door with a lock level of 10. Kill the hunger. Make sure you take the Sarano Ebony helm from it, for it has an armor rating of 94 and is worth 15,000. Now, head back to Fire-Eye and recieve your reward.
