In New Zealand between '56 and '57 the series 2 was phased out and the 1000 was introduced. This is one of the first 1000s, and at present its future is in the balances. Will Dad tackle it or will it's parts be robbed for my ute? |

The car is not lonely. it sits beside its fellow parts vehicle as it slowly is attacked by parts hunters and rust. |

The bonnet off this car was sold for 3x the amount I bought the whole car for. An insurance agent was after it for a repair job he had on hand. The customer was not happy with how it had been repaired two earlier times so this car lost its good bonnet and hinges. (It seems the customer was happy after this.) |
