In 2001, four Morris County historic preservationist groups -- the Morris County Trust for Historic Preservation and the county's Heritage Commission, Historical Society and Visitors Center -- came together. They created a list of the county's Top 10 Most Endangered Historic Sites. We've seen some success in removing previous list members from the Endangered category, but other properties either have been lost or continue in their endangered status. Here's the 2005 list. Sites are listed in alphabetical order by municipality.
