"Who the HELL came up with 'Purple Helmets'?" Good question - I don't quite know the answer; they told me while I was hammered one night and I can't remember. This is a softball team that plays Thursday nights in Park Forest and Friday nights in Homewood, where we recently won the league with an undefeated season. We bad! We've got a bunch of good guys on this squad, and we have a LOT of fun after the games. You can catch us at Tattler's on Thursdays and Ridgewood Tap on Fridays after the games.
