Bob Brown is moron.  'Moron' comes from the Greek word for "foolishness" and is taken from 1 Corinthians 1:25:  "For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom."

His music witnesses to his commitment.  His songs range from the quiet and meditative to innovative ballads about Biblical characters and stories.  Bob makes his songs easy to understand, and his music style is creative.

He likes to make you laugh and challenge you at the same time.  The Gospel message is clear, and so are the applications, calling the Christian to act (such as "It is time to hate our sin" in a song about abortion).  The song "red hat" is a prayer asking Jesus to wash away Bob's own hatreds.

Bob writes and performs his own stuff, backing himself up with a variety of electronically produced instrumentals.  He also experiments with his voice to keep the sound fresh.  Moron has received some attention in England, where it was described by one magazine editor as having a "left-field feel."

Bob has produced four full-length CD's and three short CD's (EP's) as of March, 2002.  [You can find a list of them on the
Anthology page.]  He gives these out free for the asking, although supplies have already run low; not all titles may be currently available.

Bob is a good friend to teenagers and a great Christian.  He is active in his church, New Covenant Presbyterian, with his guitar during Sunday morning worship.  He also supports the high school youth program, Vision.
