God bless amoronica EP
1.  God bless americka

"God Bless America":  slogan that I love.
I'll recite it, and I'll write it on everything I can sell for a buck.
Pins and t-shirts, flags and stickers--with this logo, I'll rake in dough.
"God Bless America":  my motto, sweet motto.  "God Bless America":  my motto, sweet motto.

"God Bless America" is my new refrain.
And I'll hawk it as I squawk it, 'though I'm taking the Lord's Name in vain.
Buyers pay well, 'cuz they can't tell patriotic from a gimmick.
"God Bless America":  my sales ploy.  "God Bless America":  sweet sales ploy.

"God Bless America" rolls off my tongue.
Easy to say, but I don't pray to the Father, the Spirit, or Son.
In my jingle, I commingle piety and sales pitch.
Madison Avenue, you
struck it rich.  Madison Avenue, may God bless you.

Note 1:  "God Bless America" was written by Irving Berlin (1888 - 1989).
Note 2:  What bothers you more:  misspelling and not capitalizing 'americka', or flippantly using the Lord's Name in a time of spiritual searching as a marketing tool to sell a few more of your products?
Note 3:  Why is 'struck' italicized above?
Note 4:  In the liner notes of each CD, 'struck' is italicized.  There is also one other word that is italicized.  Count how many words into the lyrics it is, and compare it with your CD number.
2.  whom shall i fear?

The Lord's my light and my salvation.  Whom shall I fear?  No one!

The Lord's the defense of my life.  Whom shall I fear?  No one!

When evildoers come to eat me, whom shall I fear?

No my heart won't fear; no my heart won't fear.
No my heart won't fear; no my heart won't fear...no one!

Though a host camp all around me, whom shall I fear?
Though a war rise up against me, whom shall I fear?  No one!

Psalm 27: 1 - 3
3.  jobob's song

When I wish that I were dead, as I often tend to do,
You remind me of Your plan for my life:  to live for You.

How long, O Lord, how long?

When I regret that I'd been born, as I sometimes tend to do,
You remind me of Your plan for my life:  to live for You.

How long, O Lord, how long?

When I don't see how I'll last more than another hour or two,
You remind me of Your plan for
today:  to sing to You!

How long, O Lord, how long?

Job 3:3;  Psalm 89:46;  Ephesians 2:10
4.  nothing but the blood

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing, nothing, nothing,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

What can make me whole again?
Nothing, nothing, nothing,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

O, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow.
No other fount I know:  Nothing, nothing, nothing,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Note:  "Nothing But The Blood" was written by Robert Lowry (1826 - 1899).
