Moronicism (mo-ro-ni-ki-sim) is my online playground. It is a personal portal, where I unleash my life as an aspiring web/graphic designer. It is a pseudo-magazine, with which I try to entertain my visitors thru amateur writing and some literary content. It is a portfolio of some sort, my own record of artistic as well as aesthetic achievements. It is the summation of my internet equation: six years of roaming cyberspace, four years of abusing instant messaging and a little over two years of building my foundation as a webmaster. With the help of Geocities.com, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Notepad, I am able to share this passion with other people as I continue to grow and evolve with my craft.

Etymology

I have been asked why I named my site Moronicism. Honestly, there is no reason at all. When I decided to shut down World Wild Web (my first blog site) and leave the web temporarily, I had plans of coming back and when I did, it would be a new start. With a new start comes a new site name. I forgot how I thought of the word moronicism as a choice on site names, but my basis was "what sounded cool". I thought Moronicism sounded cool, and the rest is history. I also thought that I had to have a reason why I named my site Moronicism. When faced with that question, I answer "Moronicism is the virtual manifestation of my  moronicism" but really, don't believe me when I say that.

About BARNY

My real first name is BARNY. I am born September 1 and I study Psychology in a school somewhere in Intramuros, Manila. I am male, of average height, weight and looks. I'm interested in literature, music and the arts. I wouldn't know what to do without a computer except maybe lock myself in an old attic and starve to death. I'm manic-depressive and cursed with the ability to create my own demons. I'm also secretive so what I could be saying may be a total lie, including everything I just said.
