Martin's cab ran into Alice on Blackfriars Bridge. He does the gentlemanly thing and takes her to hospital where they get to know each other better.
She just returned from America, having left her boyfriend - a former customer of the strip club where she worked, or so she says.
Despite the fact that Dan has a girlfriend and is supposed to be at work as an obituarist, he decides to spend the day with Alice.
Alice's picture now hangs in a gallery- they all meet again at the opening night.
Larry and Anna are a couple. When Alice finds out they are dating she starts to flirt with Larry to get revenge on Anna.
