In The Morning Light
The soft morning light smiles upon us
Giving comfort to the earth
Sharing joyful surprises
As she steadily
rises.
Shimmering beams wake us from our dreams
While luminous rays stretch
Their long graceful arms
Upon cool rivers
And streams.
Spirited sea gulls soar high up above
Where clouds drift lazily by
Gulls love to laugh
And sing a song
All the while
They fly.
The morning light brings a reminder
To all of God�s people
Proclaiming the time
Is here to pray and
Thank our Lord
On bended knee
For another
Beautiful
Day.
