| Show Posing |
| There are two ways for a dog to pose and one way for a cat to pose when in all shows but cutest pet. The first dog pose is called a Side Pose. When a dog poses in this way it stands sideways with the head pointing the same way as the rest of the body. The tail is slightly curved and only one of the front legs and one of the back legs is visible. The eye facing away from the camera and the chest is slightly puffed out. The dog may face right or left, it wont matter. The picture to the right is an example of this pose. The second dog pose is called a Front Facing Pose. This pose is basically the same as the Side Pose, except the head is turned to face the camera. It should be level with the front feet. An example of this pose is the one to the right. The cat pose is called, plainly enough, a Cat Show Pose. The cat stands to the right or to the left with it's head facing the camera. The tail is upright and the front legs are in line. The back legs are appart, with the back leg as far back as the cat is able to put it. A picture of this is shown below. |
