| Each apprentice and student has their own personal timetable made up of mixed classes and individual tutoring. Individual classes generally last for half a candlemark, with the learner expected to use the other half candlemark of the class time in practice or preparation. A typical apprentice timetable will have 4 classes daily, an individual tutorial at least every 2 days, and the rest of the class time is spent practicing or doing chores, especially for the journeyman or master the apprentice is allocated to. |

Apprentices are put into one of 6 groups when they start at the Hall. These groups (or 'sections' as they are known - named from A-F) are used to allocate chores (from the apprentices' perspective) and to enable easy group identification (from the rest of the Hall's perspective).
