Tokuyi�s mother is physically lean, swift and catlike. She has a powerful presence that can be either commanding or seductive. She is straight to the point and gets what she wants.
K�Nala graduated from the House of Bells. She went to the House of Bells because she likes men in uniform and has seen much use for her skills in organizing orgies for bored troops.
K�Nala likes Tokuyi�s beauty even though it is not the strong rough handsome soldier type of beauty. She does think however that Tokuyi is wasting his beauty and should use it more to his advantage. Two times she has tried to introduce Tokuyi to the life as a Cynis. The first time it was obvious that Tokuyi was not interested and that he rejected the affections she introduced him to. The second time was after his Exaltation. This time K�Nala suspected Tokuyi�s mind would be stronger and that his spirit could now come to appreciate life as a Cynis. But the effect was quite the opposite. K�Nala is disappointed to see this because in her eyes it means that Tokuyi�s spirit is too weak.
Amen is regal and slim. He has a cold and sometimes alien demeanor. He graduated from the Spiral Academy. He gets what he wants like K�Nala but is not straight to the point about, usually he takes many detours before getting to the point.
The marriage between Amnen and K�Nala is and arranged one though before the time they where married they met many times at Cynis orgies.
Amnen does not know Tokuyi is not his biological child and does not care to know. Amnen has very little interest in Tokuyi and considers him K�Nala�s problem.
Cynis Josiku, older brother, unExalted:
Josiku is pretty and cute like his family would have him. Unfortunately Josiku has only found hardship because of his appearance. Currently he is very depressed because of his status as a non-Dragon Blooded and male he always ends up in less fortunate positions during Cynis orgies.
Josiku only went to primary school and has only the orgies as an education beyond that. Because of his current mood he tries to avoid these parties because he always ends up in the clutches of someone who prefers dynast meat above that of some slave. Of course his family takes some actions against those who bring harm to Josiku but the point is that this is done after the deed is already done.
Cynis Nessah, older sister Water Aspect:
Nessah is who the immaculate where thinking of when they wrote about the antithesis of Mela. She is pretty but it is a wasted kind of beauty. She is the pride of her mother. Nessah uses her appearance to seduce whomever she can get at the Cynis orgies, as well as outside of these parties, and indulge in her bizarre tastes. She likes to use her talents to convince others to join in her perversity.
Cynis D�Jako, younger brother, Fire Aspect:
D�Jako is flashy, handsome, athletic, and well trained. He has recently graduated from the House of Bells and is very proud of this fact. Also he has the tendency to be very active and grin a lot. In one word he is annoying. He likes to impress girls a lot and expects girls at orgies to come after him not the other way around.
Because he hasn�t done anything heroic yet he likes to use the fact that his older brother has single handedly killed an Anathema with his bare hands. Also he likes to use Tokuyi�s poetry to charm the girls.
D�Jako is the typical product of Cynis hormones and too much sugar.
Cynis Atian�Tha, older sister, unExalted:
While she doesn�t like the family�s way of life she has come to accept it. Atian�Tha performs admirably at orgies and likes to study in the time in between parties. She likes to outwit her partners at such parties before sleeping with them. The bedding part she likes to keep esthetic and ecstatic.
She appreciates Tokuyi�s poetry but thinks it is foolish that he would not simply give in to the family�s wishes.
Sajo is average looking and quite well fed. His capacity for learning sorcery is vastly overshadowed by his appetite.
Sajo was attracted to Tokuyi�s much smaller appetite that left some part of the school dinner for him. Later Sajo came to appreciate Tokuyi�s calm mysterious demeanor and after all Tokuyi�s beauty and talent at sorcery and the occult made him one of the coolest guys to hang around with.
Menmon Tai, Water Aspect:
Tai is a cute guy in a roguish kind of way. He gets himself in all kinds of trouble and usually can get himself out of them as well. Tai met Tokuyi by accident when he wanted to steal Tokuyi�s lunch an ran into N�Thuma while trying to sneak of and then ran into Sajo, who was going to get half of that lunch, while trying to back out. Tokuyi of course forgave him. Tai decided to stick around Tokuyi mainly because he was looking for friends and the rest of the students seemed already cross with him for some other of his mischievous acts.
Ledaal Musa, Air Aspect:
Musa is pretty and very studious. She has great difficulty expressing herself because she tends to get nervous a lot.
At first she was attracted to Tokuyi for his obvious beauty but found that he was far out of her each. Then her eyes turned towards Tai he always made her laugh even though she knew the things he did where mischievous. She never got as close as she wanted to Tai at the Heptagram because of her shyness.
