Kiki wants to find a city near the ocean. During her journey, she meets another witch, who says she is all most throught with her training (her skill is fortune telling) and she asks Kiki what her skill. Kiki was shocked to me asked that because she doesn't know what her skill is.
Kiki and Jiji wind up in a far away town (near the ocean) where she learns independence and responsibility.
She meets some wonderful new friends that help her through some trials that she has.
Osono- takes Kiki in, letting her stay in the spare room. Kiki gets an idea that she wants to have a Delivery service.
Tombo- is a boy who is into flying. He is trying to build a self propelled plane over the summer. He thinks Kiki is an amazing girl and always calls her *Miss Witch* He always tries to talk to her, but gets the cold shoulder. She thinks it's rude to talk to a girl before they have been introduced or even before you know her name. lol cute!
Ursula- is a girl who lives by her self with the wild crow that live around her cabin. She is an artist. Kiki ran into one day when she was making a delivery and dropped this cat doll in the woods when she was attacked by crows. When she went back to find it, she say that it was in Ursula's cabin window.
Bertha and the Madam of a manson, that Kiki is doing a delivery for. The Madam is in distress because the pot pie that she wanted to make for her granddaughters birthday wasn't ready because the electric stove wasn't working, so offered to use the old wood buring stove to make. Bertha is a lady who loves witches, and is into tjhings that are dangerous and exciting.
Tombo invited Kiki to go to a party, but she couldn't make it because one of her deliveries ran late. She was sick, because she flew in the ran, rushing home for the party. The next day, Jiji ran into a female cat, Lily.
Kiki one day loses her witches powers because they have become very weak. She has no idea if they will return.
She meets back up with ursula, and spend the night at her cabin, and models for her. They talk about the spirit that is inside them. and not to worry about losing her powers. That they will return.
Theres an accident with the Dirigible "The Spirit of Freedom" where Tombo is hanging from the rope. Kiki runs out to where he is and flies up to rescue him. Her powers have returned.
