| It's said that there was a heavenly king that ruled the sky, and he divided it into 4 quadrants, Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western. Each quadrant is ruled by a beast god. These gods are, Genbu, Suzaku, Seiryu, and Byakko. For the sky, there are said to be 28 'star houses' or 'constellations.' These constellations were divided onto 4 groups of 7 constellations, and were assigned to one of the 4 quadrants. |

| This anime is based off the book, "The 4 Gods Sky and Earth." It is an incantation when read, and will bring the reader, to another world, making her become its miko. Yui and Miaka are going to be the new miko's. Miaka for Suzaku, and Yui for Seiryu. Both girls get pulled into the book at the same time, but then Yui is pulled out, Miaka stays. When Miaka returns home, Yui is pulled back into the book. Miaka tries to find her best friend since kindegarden, but when she is nowhere to be found,, she knows that Yui was pulled back into the book. Miaka goes back into the book to find her, but what she didn't know was that they were about to become enemies. A battle builds up to, who is going to call their god first. |
