Are you canine tonight? Is your fur soft and bright? Will you bite me, for getting too close? Are you eating your share of a bunny or hare, That you caught in the fields on a hunt? Are the claws in your forelegs all gleaming and sharp? Do you run in the forest, or fish for a carp? Do you howl to the moon? Have I come back to soon? Tell me dear, are you canine tonight?
I wonder if you`re canine tonight, You know, someone said the worlds a pack, And each must take his place. Fate had me falling in love with you as my sweetheart, You were human when we met; I loved you at first glance. Standing straight on your two feet, no fur at all in sight. Then came the moon, you seemed to change and acted strange, And now I know why. Honey, you lied when you said you were human, And I had no cause to doubt you. But I`d rather go on hearing your lies, Then go on living without you. Now the moon is high and I`m standing here, With the forest all around, And if you won`t come back to me, Then bite me and take me with you.
Do you howl to the moon? Have I come back to soon? Tell me dear, are you canine tonight? |
