| Chapter 3 Latakia took Sarah and Christian to the park with Michael. Jason noticed that Brenda had been pacing back and forward all day and haven't stopped once. " Are you going to tell me what's wrong? Sarah and Christian aren't here, now." Jason said sitting on the couch watching her. " She was going to send them to Cuba. Why would she do that? I know she remembers Cuba, it's kind of hard to miss considering the fact it was the worst time of our lives. It was hell and doesn't even get me started on our brother...." Brenda started yelling. " Hey, hey. Calm down." He said pulling her down to finally sit on the couch with him. " Why don't you explain to me what happen in Cuba." " My brothers and sister, and me were sent to live on my uncle's tobacco plantation in Cuba. He illegally slaved children to work there, and despite the fact that we are family, he did they same with us, and it killed my brother. Understand?" Brenda said doing everything she could to stop herself from crying. Jason nodded. " The Cuban government didn't know?" He asked " No. Of course not. My uncle payed people really well to keep they're mouths shut." Brenda leaned on Jason, and after a minute of shook Jason put his arms around her protectively. " A lot of the kids would get sick and he wouldn't do anything to help. Christian, our brother, got sick and Uncle did nothing to help even though they shared the same blood. It was like he enjoyed hurting all the kids he could get his hands on. My brother could still be alive if he just cared enough to take care of people." Jason could feel himself breaking down at Brenda's ever word. The thought of a guy that could do that pissed him off. " I can't let them go there. Julia wants me to send them back to her, but I can't do that. I can't let them live like that." " I know. I understand. They can stay here as long as they like." " You do know that's the longer you have company in your bed." Brenda smiled for the first time all day. " I like the company. Plus, we're married." Jason said trying to stop himself from smiling. " What about Courtney?" Brenda asked. " I think she got the message when she saw us kiss." Jason said. Brenda smiled and looked away, and closed her eyes. " What?" " This is so weird." Brenda started laughing. " We always fought, except for once every two months when we'd share a "close" moment." Jason smiled. " And you don't smile around me. Like ever, until now. I'm just a little confused about what's going on right now." " Well, we're married people, being married people." They both laughed. " I don't think there's a problem with married people being together, is there?" " No. Not at all." Jason leaned down and kissed her. Just as they got up and started to make their way to the stairs, Jax walked in. " Jax, go home. Your not wanted here." " Jason, be nice." She smiled at her husband, then turned to Jax. " What do you want?" " I want you." He said softly, but Brenda didn't by it. " Sorry. I'm married." Brenda had to keep her self from laughing. " Going back to the mob are you. Watch out, Jason. It's only time before she goes running to Sonny." " Why is everything about Sonny?" Brenda asked. " This is not about Sonny, I am not married to Sonny. I'm married to Jason. If you haven't noticed they're two different people." " No they're not, and you haven't changed either. You'll always be a whore." Jax said almost laughing, until Jason grabbed him and threw him against the door. " Don't you ever disrespect my wife. Ever!" Jason yelled. " You are not welcome here. Get out." Jax got up and left. Jason walked over to her and hugged her. " Don't listen to him." " You do know he was wrong right?! I'm not after Sonny. I'm happy for Sonny and Carly." Brenda said taking Jason to sit over on the coach. " I know." Jason said and they cuddled up together. " I know your life with Sonny is over and I know your life with me is just starting." They started to fall a sleep, but then 3 kids ran in the door screaming and playing, doing what kids do. *** " It's Hydromartic Acid. One drop of this would put someone on their death bed." A guy said handing A.J. a bottle of poison. " What do you think?" He asked his wife, and Courtney smiled. " It seems Perfect to me." She said and they walked off after they payed the guy." |
