One of the current "hot" units of the Inner Sphere, the Wrecking is in as close as a position to enviable as a small merc unit can get- on the path to greatness and with all the bills paid. For the last decade they have been building a reputation for excellence that nearly matches their record for sheer brutality in battle. Formed in the teeth of the Wolf Clan invasion of the early 3050s, they cut their teeth as "outlaws" and "dezgra" in the path of that maelstorm. With no chance of surrender or a peaceful resolution the Wrecking Crew earned their freedom in a series of campaigns culminating in the epic fight for Tukayyid.
Though they served contracts for the Rasalhague Republic, and after the war Comstar; their first touchdown on Outreach saw them treated as pirates. The AFFC wanted them on trial as a rogue unit as the Wrecking Crew was founded with AFFC materiel and stolen ships. With witnesses and defense of notables such as the Precentor Martial himself, the MRBC instead found them guilty of a minor breach of contract, in late 3051 the Crew left Rasalhague space to fight on the Morgan homeworld of Laurent. Hit with only a single year hiring ban, the Wrecking Crew have a feud with the AFFC that continues to this day.
Since becoming true freelancers the Wrecking Crew have served over a dozen different employers, and fought against every major faction in the Inner Sphere. In addition to their battle prowess they have become marketeers; they keep large amounts of salvage and trade it on the open market. They have alos gained a great deal of noteriety recently for their battles in the Chaos March and Operation Birddog, and are noted for their self-sufficiency. With such glory comes a price, the Marauders (the fighting arm of the Crew) are known as a suicide unit, and have on of the highest mortality rates of any mercenary unit in operation.
Though infamous for their "wreckless" tactics, all the major Houses continue to offer the Crew contracts, and Allison Morgan is able to bargain the terms from a superior position. The Crew is known as a unit that will get the job done, a bit too thoroughly and a bit messy, but the the objective is always completed. On the battlefield Rebecca Morgan's warriors are some of the fiercest and most bloodthirsty in the Inner Sphere, and they match the Clans in sheer ferocity.
