Website Idea - Rotten Teddybears

Summary - My site will be my art portfolio. I'm not positive the name I want yet. (either professional with my name or a fun name like rotten teddybears.)

Content - As of right now, there will be pictures of my art and skill sets. In the future I could set up a shopping cart so people could buy stickers or prints.

Competition - A few competitors I found were: The Obanoth (Hannah Webb), honinip, and Jingzhiyong Art. The Obanoth- I love that her website displays her art large with all the same background. It makes it look clean and less boring. I also love her colorful title of the website it makes it pop. I don't like that names and prices of the art isn't displayed right underneath each picture. Honinip- Her portfolio is through a platform called Artfol and the website makes that seem like her website title when it's not. However, it is easy to navigate because her gallery, about her, and commisions all have seperate tabs. Jingzhiyong Art- This was my favorite website I found. There was a big piece of art displayed as well as tabs along the top (not too distracting) of all his information. Then when you scroll down there is categories that can be clicked on to show different types of art. The only critique is that the titles for the categories were in the center of the space and cover up the pictures slightly.

Purpose - If people want cool art or commissions or want to see my qualifications then this site is needed to capture their attention.

Desired Results - I would like users to look at my art and communicate to their peers about it. Once a cart is set up, then my goal is to have prints and stickers sold

Target Audience - I think my art style would capture a general age range of 12-25 and mostly females. But my target goal would be a larger age range and all genders. It would be incredible if people all over the world would look at my art. Another Target audience would be employers who want to evaluate my graphic design skills.
