| i was born in vancouver and moved to tofino after a year. i lived there for six years and then i moved to vernon in 1991. i love everything about music. i've played piano for about nine years and guitar for a year. i could listen to just about any kind of music but i tend towards punk, ska-core, and emo. my favorite groups would have to be dashboard confessional, something corporate, .moneen., further seems forever, the juliana theory, the all-american rejects, planet smashers, odd one out, less than jake, mighty mighty bosstones, jack johnson, the wallflowers, our lady peace, simon and garfunkel, taking back sunday, and the all time best ever...WEEZER! i also love to read! the best books are the ones that you can read over and over and never get tired of. for me those books are Summer Sisters by Judy Blume, Skipped Parts by Tim Sandlin, The Beach by Alex Garland, Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson, and Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt. i also love anything written by John Grisham. oddly enough, many of my favorite books were later turned into motion pictures, which i also enjoy.. my all-time favorite movie is Empire Records. it's just the best movie, i could watch it all the time. some other favorites of mine are Dirty Dancing, Moulin Rouge, American History X, Whatever it Takes (Floyd's SO SWEET!), Life as a House, Legends of the Fall, igby Goes Down, Almost Famous, absolutely any and all adam sandler flick (except waterboy), all the national lampoon vacations, Animal House, Van Wilder, and most recently Jackass. i love all my pets more than anything. the 2 pups, bailey (cocker spaniel) and Tess (black lab) and the 3 kishens (thelma, cheree, and blanket-head). i play ringette and soccer. i love snowboarding (although i'm horrible at it) and i wish i could skateboard, but i can't, so i'm content to watch it (but only if the people are good...i hate watching people who just ollie all the time). |
