Welcome!  In the small space allotted to me here, I just want to give a little info. about myself and my family and our "fam trad" that has evolved into a study group and, hopefully one day soon, a coven.  I have been a writer all my life and have been quite eloquent on the subjects of religious tolerance and equality.  I'm sick and tired of reading about the narrow views of fundamentalist Christians concerning "minority" religions and the separation of church and state and have had plenty to say about them!  My main motto is "education is the antidote to fear, which is the mother of hatred."  People love to hate what they fear, but they don't realize how much this degrades them as human beings.  Anyway, I am a semi-regular contributor to The Wiccan-Pagan Times, and if you click on their link above, you can read my articles there. My husband Ron and myself have been Witches since our respective childhoods.  In our twenty-five year marriage we have counseled and taught many people (including our daughter) our philosophies and practices.  We prefer to practice with a small group of people rather than a large one, which is why we prefer to keep Desert Moon Circle's membership to nine or below. I must stress that we DO screen applicants.  If you decide to apply, you will be given an application to complete and return, in addition to the group's rules (which really aren't all that bad!) and some info about us. Some of you that are reading this have met me.  Some never have, but  please feel free to email me---I love to hear from other Pagans and do my best to answer any and all emails.
