This is where I keep my happy pretty specimens. As in the specimens that are too good to be plopped on top of the TV or on a bookshelf somewhere gathering dust. A lot of them aren't very spectacular or worth hundreds (I wish). Some pieces in other collection pages are actually on my A Shelf but I arranged them how I see fit.

Sulphur Crystals. Very cool and bright.

Tiger's Eye Slice. From my grandfather's collection.

Yellow Calcite. Seriously, I have a ton of this stuff. Going out of business sale bargain rack.

Yellow Calcite. Neat white end.

Yellow Calcite.

Youngite. Possibly from Wyoming.

Amethyst Cluster. Found it in a rock shop, most likely mispriced. Bigger than it looks in the picture.

 Vanadinite. Pure Potential Mine, Arizona.

Calcite vein. Found in Dubuque, Iowa right next to the Mississippi. Not sure if the rocks were native to the specific area as they were near a newly-built boardwalk.

Beryl crystal. From Quadville, Ontario, Canada. Really great shape.

Calcite Crystals. From Pugh Quarry, Ohio.

Torbernite Uranium Ore. My favorite "bad boy" specimen. From Tsumeb, Namibia.
