DEMON OF THE FLOODS
30th-April-2002

Cities and villages,
Villages and towns,
What use are they all,
When you are all drowned?

Released by yourselves,
To punish you all,
Under your own wrath,
I'll watch you all fall.

I'll savour and enjoy,
The suffering and destruction,
The life you'll loose,
Like an entrancing seduction.

Because the simplest of concepts,
You find hard to comprehend,
Under my murky depths,
You'll find your life's end.

Don't you see this is entirely your fault?
Your luxury apartments will sink,
And I'll turn your entire planet,
Into a melted ice rink.

So I'll tear you apart,
Smash your bodies against your own creations,
Make the waters run red,
And your pain feed my hunger.

I have been released,
By your own foolish pride,
And you'll never learn.

I'll use those melted ice caps
And drown you so rough it burns.
