Morel's Morals
Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Taxes for everyone.

Here is where you will see the answers to the most commonly asked questions I recieve and where I found the answers. This way if you would like to educate yourself, this is it.

When can I electronically file?
The IRS allows most filers to file electronically, and for those who can; they can start January 12, 2007. Just a reminder, to really file you do need all your tax documents, like W-2's and 1099's and such. You will be able to file electronically until normally October 15 (though the IRS has not released the offical date) if you do not owe the IRS. Of course you can file an extension before April 15th and have more time to file your taxes that you owe.
I found this information at the IRS web site, and it is currently at
http://www.irs.gov/efile/article/0.,id=118508,00.html, though it may move or leave the site, so I will check for accuracy about once a week to keep you updated.
