Because I love Him so.
Without Him I am nothing,
He's with me wherever I go.
When Satan tries to lure me,
Into his evil snare,
Jesus gently takes my hand,
And leads me away from there.
I cannot count the many times,
He came to comfort me,
When I was sick and lonely,
And needed His company.
He's here when I awaken each morning,
He's here when I go to sleep,
And I feel safe and secure in His arms,
And I know my soul He will keep.
I love to tell of His awesome love,
And what He has done for me,
Because I want you all to know,
How Jesus has set me free,
From worry and cares He saved me,
He fills my soul with peace,
And my dear friends, He'll do for you,
What He has done for me!
