| Teams from Taiwan won 20 medals in 2004 International Children's Games in Cleveland 08.03.2004 2004 International Children's Games was held in Cleveland from July 30 through August 2, 2004. Taiwan was represented by two cities: Taipei and Kaohsiung. All together, over 40 children from Taipei and Kaohsiung participated in the events of swimming, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, and Track & Field. At the end, team from Taipei collected 11 medals and team form Kaohsiung had 9. Nine of these twenty are gold medals. Children from Taipei are leaving Cleveland today for New York City before going home. Children from Kaohsiung are going home via Washington, D.C. and New York City. |

| Hundreds of University Heights residents gathered on the JCU campus on Jul 25 to help the university and the city celebrate the Cleveland 2004 International Children's games taking place this week (Jul 31-Aug 2) on campus and at other venus.
