14 years old. A feisty red head. She had a very troubled childhood, her father left and her mother hanged herself after she went insane during an Evangelion activation test. Asuka makes up for the insecurity by being very outward going and even violent, a cause of worry for Shinji as he's usually on the recieving end.

A cold man, he runs the organisation with strict efficiency. In order to fulfil his personal mission he sees most of his staff as expendable. At one point valuing the sefety of Eva Unit 01 over his own son.
These three are the main operators during the Evangelion battles. They make sure nueral links and pilots are kept secure. Without their knowledge, combat would be made almost impossible.
