| Although body modification has reciently become mainstream, this is NOT mainstream. I have spent my life trying to stray from the normal, and stay out of the typical, but anymore, who can be unique? I do not pierce myself based on the fact that it's cool, and that I think it's nifty. I pierce because it has meaning to me, each of my piercings mean something to me, and I really don't care what others think about them. Eventually I will get tattoos, but those have to wait until I am of legal age to decide for myself. Until then it's whatever I can convince my mother that I should have. I currently have seven piercings. *1st lobes- Pierced twice, ripped out once when I was younger. Pierced again because I longed to be like other girls, yes, I was 8. 14 ga cbr's rest in the holes now, eventual plans to stretch to 10ga. At current I have a Jade bead in my left cbr, and a Malachite bead in my right. *2nd Lobes- Pierced at the mall, yes, guns are evil, though my first ones were done at the doctors. Stretched to 14 ga, cbr's again (Jade bead left ear, Malachite bead right ear). Eventual plans to stretch to 12ga. Pierced in celebration of moving to the next level with my horse Keri. *3rd Lobe(s)- Pierced at the mall again, yes, guns are evil again. Took forever and an eon to heal because of the cartalidge trauma with the gun. Pierced because I had lost a mass amount of weight and finally started to bring my grades up. Stretched to 14ga, in the process my right ear got aggrvated with me and decided it didn't want to be stretched, so I had to go ahead and let it close. Left ear has a Jade bead, no eventual plans for stretching, though eventual plan to get right ear re-pierced at a real piercing place. *Inner Helix- Second piercing by my lovely piercer (yes, needle, ooo soo much better). 16 ga CBR, origionally started out with a TI bead, but found out I was extremely allergic to TI, so I had it replaced iwith a green tiger eye bead. This piercing is by far my worst healer, but it is also connected to a part of my life which I struggle with on a daily basis (it's meaning that is), so it's not a total shock that it isn't healing as quickly as it should. *Navel- First piercing by my lovely piercer, and my true love. Pierced shortly after my Uncle was tragically killed in a freak accident. 14ga, wear curved barbells of assorted styles in it. Typically I wear my green jewled barbell, or my plain barbell (with a smaller bead on the inside of my navel.)
