Well, it's been awhile since I've updated this site. It has been a long road the last few years. My mom passed away from a heart attack in 9/05, just a few weeks before Catalina's 1st birthday. Since that time, we have rented out our house and moved into mom's house to better enable us to see to my grandparents' needs as well as our own family's needs. We are currently looking into aquiring additional properties for rental opportunities and in need of ebay/yardsale/newspaper listings to help clear out all of the clutter and odds and ins that are stored and not doing us any good. For Christmas 2006 we flew out to spend time with Edgard's family in California and it was really nice to see everyone again after 3 years! Time flies and wow do the kids ever keep GROWING! |

Just a quick update on our family... we will be expanding to a family of 6 come September! We can't wait until the baby is born... Meagan is hoping for a girl & daddy & Nicholas want a boy. Jasmine isn't real sure what she wants, as long as it will share it's toys :) |

Hello! Welcome to our home (page) on the internet. We (Eddie & Bonnie) were married in May 1992. We lived in a tiny "baby-doll" one bedroom apartment our first year of married life while we were both working at our first full-time jobs. It was an adventure, to say the least! Learning all the ins & outs of living on our own for the first time (well, my first time, Eddie lived in a dorm room at MIT while in college). We soon realized that as cute as our apartment was, we wanted something bigger. At the time we were looking - the price for a 3-bedroom/1-1/2 bath townhouse to purchase was the same monthly as a 2-3 bedroom apartment! So we purchased our 1st home less than 1 year after getting married. Now that we had that goal conquered, a baby was next on the list! We owned & bred color mutation peachfaced lovebirds for a few years in the townhouse, we just didn't have a dining room anymore (with upto 25 birds in cages there!). In July 1994 Meagan was born, followed by Jasmine in April 1997. Jasmine contracted Meningitis just prior to her 1st birthday (PSN goto CJ's playground for Jasmine's Story) and after returning home from the hospital stay, we decided 1) we liked the schools and special ed programs in Hanover Co. better 2) we wanted to be closer to my parents in case of an emergency 3) we needed a house without stairs. So we sold the townhouse and bought a single story ranch house in the neighborhood where I grew up & where my parents still live. The schools are WONDERFUL and the house had all the amenities we were after on an ACRE lot & for a price we could afford! In April 2002, Nicholas was born. We were very blessed that his birth occured a few months before my father suffered a stroke that left him bed-bound, and he was able to meet his grandson; hold & play with him, before his passing in January 2003. |
