POLICIES AND GUIDELINES

VCC MOPS Policies and Guidelines

Bringing Friends: You are encouraged to bring friends, however, they will have to arrange their own childcare unless youve arranged it with the MOPPETS coordinator.

Crafts: Each month there will be enough craft supplies for one craft per mom. If there are extra craft supplies they will be available to purchase.

Serving: Your discussion group will be asked to serve brunch for one or two meetings during the year. Your discussion group facilitator will have more information for you and will tell you when its your groups turn to serve.

Inclement Weather: If MOPS is canceled because of weather, our meeting will not be reschedule. Your discussion group facilitator will contact you if the meeting is cancelled.

Steering Team term limits: Each Steering Team members position will be limited to 2 to 3 years, at which time they may either step down from leadership or move to a new position of leadership. When a coordinators 2 to 3 years is completed, she will be asked to step off the Steering Team for at least one year.

MOPPETS Policies and Guidelines

Sign in: Please sign in your child at the appropriate room and make any comments needed about food allergies, feeding time, or special helps in case of fussiness. MOPPETS workers will give babies their bottles, naps, pacifiers, etc, according to your instructions.

Labeling: All bottles, blankets, diaper bags, etc, must be clearly labeled with your childs name. Labels will be available at the check-in desk.

Child Pick-Up: Children should be brought and picked up by parents or another responsible adult. Only the adult signing the child in will be able to pick up the child. For safty reasons there are no exceptions to this rule.

Illnesses: Mothers are to keep their children at home if their child is contagious. Common signs are an elevated temperature, green nasal discharge, frequent or severe cough.

Medicine: No medication of any kind will be administered by a MOPPETS worker. If a child must have medication, it must be given by the mother.

Breastfeeding: If you are nursing your baby, please feel free to nurse in the meeting room or wherever you feel comfortable. There is a Nursing room available by the front offices and there are reocking chairs available in the infant room.

Bringing Day Care Kids: WE don not have room in our MOPPETS program for an unlimited number of children. If you run a day care in your home, you are limited to bring one day care child in addition to your own children. They will need to have their own MOPPETS form.

In case of Fire: Please take the appropriate measures to get yourself out of the building and allow the teachers to organize their classrooms so they can get our children all safely out of the building.

We are excited to have you as a part of our MOPS group, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our policies. If you have any suggestions please let us know. See you soon!
