Materials
Required:
o Pinex board (also known as
Softboard or Flameguard)
o
Fabric (big enough to cover board)
o
9mm wide elastic
o
PVA glue
o
Staple gun
o
String
Instructions:
1. Lay piece of fabric face down on
table and place pinex board in the middle of the fabric (white side of board
up)
2. Apply PVA to the edge of the back of
the board (white side) and glue the edges of the fabric down (pulling the
fabric tight).
3. Using the template provided mark
around the edges of the back of the board at 10cm intervals
4. Attach short lengths of elastic to
the back of the board using a staple gun on the marks you have just made.
5. Attach one end of the long lengths
of elastic to the back of the board and weave it through the short lengths
(over/under) on the front then attach the other ends to the back of the board.
6. Attach piece of string (to hang
memory board) to the back of the board 10cm from top. Use staple gun to attach and knot
string.
