Easter

Materials Required:

o               10 chocolate buttons

o               baking paper

o               small plastic bag

o               plastic egg

o               little chicken

o               small clear cellophane cake bag

o               scripture card or sticker – Easter message

o               ribbon

o               small metal bowl & suitable bowl to sit it in

Instructions:

1.       Place chocolate buttons in metal bowl, pour boiling water into 2nd bowl and allow chocolate buttons to melt.

2.       Spoon melted chocolate into plastic bag; snip off a corner of the bag to create a small hole to squeeze chocolate through.

3.       Squeezing the chocolate create little designs on the baking paper.  We have made crosses and hearts, symbolising the cross Jesus died on and the love he has for us.

4.       Leave chocolate to dry – should only take 10 mins.

5.       Place chocolate decorations in cellophane bag.  Put the bag, chicken and scripture inside the plastic egg and tie with a bow.  You could include a personal note for your child or loved one.
