haunt me,

every night.
Searching,
for the answer.

can I find these answers,
when I don't even understand the question.

can I be at peace,
when these questions haunt me.

What is life?
What is the meaning of everything?
Why are we here?
Why should we go on,
when everything is pain.

The questions torment my soul,
darkening all light,
and trapping me in a spiral,
of pain and darkness.

Will I ever find the answers?
Are the answers even real?
Why do I continue searching,
when I know I will never feel.
