Solar System Photography
Once every 120 or so years venus crosses between the Earth and the sun, on June 24th 2004 around 7:00am that's what happened.  Actually, every 120 years or so venus crosses between the Earth and Sun twice in an 8 year period, so look out for this again in 2012!
On the night of Oct 27th, 2004, the Earth, moon and sun were all in perfect alignment, the moon slipped into the Earth's shadow and the biggest miracle of all, the Sox won the world series!
Solar system photograph don't get much better than this.  This photo of Saturn was taken in December 2003 when Saturn was directly overhead.  This photo is actually a digital composition of about 100 individual photos stacked and averaged.
