Nothing like the good old summer time on Great Moose Lake...
Kathy and Jim Farrington spent an August week at the house, the weather wasn't all that great but they managed to pull alot of good looking fish out of the lake.
Denise Horrocks and crew spent a lovely week at the house the last week of Sept '07 and will be returning again in '08.  Thanks for the photos, she was kind enough to send me these 6 out of the 800 (!!!) that she took.  See below for her comments left in my guestbook.
We just returned from the BEST vacation we have ever taken. We were at the lake house the last week of Sept.2007. we had 6 adults, and 3 children. From the moment we started driving on Pond Rd., I knew we were set for a great vacation! As we pulled in the driveway I thought..."oh yeah!!!" The house was better equipped than any home, condo, or cabin we have ever rented. It is so large and roomy. The outside...well, what could go wrong? Leaves, sun, breeze, canoe, kayaks, paddleboat, hot tub, and oh yes..the gazebo!! We sat on the deck and gazed at the lake. I took over 700 pictures if that tells you anything. We went to Acadia one day, but stayed at the house the rest of the time. We took a great walk in the woods on logging trails for two hours. Gary, the neighbor, was great. He took us out on a long boat ride. John has though of everything!! We felt that we were at a home away from home. We will be coming back, and will count the days until we do. By the way, you MUST go to the Sunrise Cafe! I guess you can see that I recommend this property!!! As E.B. White said, "I would really rather feel bad in Maine than good anywhere else." Well, we didn't feel bad, we felt awesome. But, Maine...well, I wish we could live there! Thanks again, John!!!! :O)
Photos from the Law and Provencher families, they stayed the week of July 4th and will be staying at the house again next year.
Photos from Paula O'Brien and crew, they stayed the week of August 19th.
Wonderful! Just returned from a great week spent with a group (6 adults, 3 kids (3, 11 & 15). We had 2 rainy days at the start but the house is so comfortable with so much room we didn't mind. The Master BR (which I took dibs on) is beautiful. The pix really don't do the house justice--it was much larger than I had expected and it couldn't be more private! The lake is so gorgeous---I got up at 4:30-5:00 every a.m. and got some beautiful sunrises as the fog lifted off. His neighbor Gary was great---stopped by for a chat and a few days later took some of our group on his boat for a tour of the lake. We saw loons and an eagle in his nest! With a dog and a toddler day trips were out but a great place to poke around and not too far away is Country Creations (it's back near 95 where Shop & Save is); lots of crafty things and the BEST fudge! The guys in our group visited a nearby home microbrewery John had told us about---some really good beer. John is wonderful to work with and very accommodating; would def. rent from him again.  Paula, Everett MA

Wendy and crew made the trek from Hatboro PA and spent a week in July at the house.  I'm guessing from the photos they had a great time.
