Front Deck and the Neighbors |
One of the things that is discouraging about vacationing in Maine, is that if you're looking for a private lakefront home, they're really hard to come by. After pouring through hundreds of rental ads, you become accustomed to the homes that have that real tight shot of the house, what does that mean? It almost always means the houses are stacked one on top of another on the lake front, so much for your private getaway! This home has 125' of private frontage on Great Moose Lake, but is even more private than that as the neighbors to both sides are on large lots. See the below photos to see what I'm talking about... |

If you look really hard, through the woods, to the south... you'll see... nothing. Very private to the south. |

Looking to the north, you'll see the rooftop of your only visible neighbor. |
