Great Moose Lake's northeast cove isn't what people think it is. When I mention that the house is on a Cove, most folks envision the lagoon on Gilligan's island! Northeast cove is nothing like that, it's about a mile from east to west and a mile or two from the northern tip to where it opens up to the open water basin.
Above is a photo from just south of the cove's opening, on the left hand side of this photo is Packard point, the furthest reaching penninsula outlining the cove. |
