I'm 9 months old now and the weather is changing. The snow is starting to melt and spring is just around the corner. All these good smells are starting to happen too. Like meat. Raw, cooked, meat, meat, meat. I just don't know how to explain it, but I smell meat. This is the case of the missing roast. Shall I be vindicated?

Now, what can you tell me about the missing roast?




Well, mom and dad, it was the funniest thing. I know you will think it just as funny as I do. I mean, come on just look at me. I was heading outside and when I was walking through the kitchen, I saw the cats. They were up on the stove just eating away at that roast. I told them not to, but they didn't listen. I mean come on look at them, don't they look guilty?




See, I took this picture after I chased them away from the roast. This is Heaven Leigh and she is just sitting there trying to look innocent. Now, tell me, does she look innocent?




Here is Echo. I had to chase her down to get her picture. I finally cornered her in the bathroom. Now, if she was so innocent, why did she run?




Now, to the final bit of evidence. Bruce Kelly. I found him hiding. Not under a bed or anywhere one might find an INNOCENT cat, but in the linen closet. Talk about GUILTY.




Now, just look at me, sitting so nice and pretty on the couch. Could I have possibly eaten the roast? I say NO. I AM INNOCENT. You have to make a case against me. But I just want to say one thing. Just look at my puppy dog eyes and you will see, that no matter what you find, that I am a member of this family and sometimes we do wrong. This time I didn't though.




OK, OK, OK, I did it. I can't take the torture anymore. I took the roast and put it in the refrigerator so the animals wouldn't get it. It was me, Emmy. The roast is now safe and sound ready to be put on the grill this evening. Now, please get this beast off me.
