God know how desperate I want to be successful in my family...I want my Dad to be proud of me for who I am and for what I do. From my childhood, I was always be compared with my sisters. Bear in mind, I have two sisters. One is older sister,Emily, and the other one is younger sister,Jessica. My Dad only cares about who can get the number one in a class. However, all my eduation in Taiwan, I can only get the second place in a class. I don't know WHY. >_< I tried!
However, my younger sister... she is always an apple in my parents' eyes. Of course, she has better grade than anyone else in the family. Whoever didn't do well in school will be devalued in the family. Of course... that including me. My life in Taiwan was pretty bored. School and home were the only two places I spent most of my time at. Until the whole family moved to Canada, my life began to shine.
With western education that allows me to choose whatever classes I like to take. I build up my confidence and knowledge through my high school and university lifes in Canada. During the 3 years university, I jointed many school activities. i.e. Bridal fashon show; International studnet events, aerobics...etc. Right now, I am back to Taiwan, I feel I see things differently than before. My world seems just developing. There are so many thing waiting for me to try in here. I can't wait to experience them all. ^_* |
