Last fall I was contacted by Jim Thatcher, an independent consultant in the area of accessibility to include my recommendation within a book that he was being involved in. As a result, I had given him permission as long as I was properly cited for the recommendation.

In April of this year, the recommendation was included in a book titled "Constructing Accessibile Web Sites', by Thatcher, Bohman, Burks, Henry, Regan, Swierenga, Urban, Waddell, published by Glasshaus.

The W3C suggestion can be found in Chapter 6, pages 160-161.

This book is for Web Developers creating accessible web sites, or updating corporate sites to make them accessible. It is now available at online bookstores.
