GROWTH HABITS Sympodial epiphyte
ORIGIN From Costa Rica south along the coast to Ecuador.
BLOOMING SEASON Spring
LIGHT Moderate 1800 to 2200 fc
TEMPERATURE Warm to intermediate with winter lows  of 15 to 17 degrees C (59 to 62 degrees F) and summer highs of 24 to 32 degrees C (76 to 90 degrees F).
HUMIDITY Will grow at 50% to 60% humidity but will do much better at 80% to 90%
WATER Keep moist at all times.
GROWING MEDIA Use a potting mix that retains moisture well such as the following: 6 parts seedling bark, 1 part perlite, 1 part charcoal and 1 part chopped sphagnum moss or coarse peat. Or the plant may be mounted on cork or tree fern slab.
FERTILIZER Feed weak weekly (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon water). In early spring you might change to 2 feedings of a growth mixture and 1 feeding of a blossom buster mix until buds are observed could also use a balance mix such as 20-20-20 throughout the year feeding weak weekly.
POTS Use plastic pots or mount the plant..
