GROWING MEDIA A good compost with peat added or 3 parts peat to 6 parts seedling bark will work.
FERTILIZER Feed weak weekly a high nitrogen mix after new growth starts in the spring till the first to mid August then you can change to a low nitrogen high phosphors mix till the first of October when you start preparing the plants for their winter rest. Always remember to rinse the pots well with plain water before you stop the watering for the rest period.
POTS Plants will grow well in either clay or plastic pots. Remember that the clay pots dry faster than plastic pots during the growth period.
